Pier 19 is the ONLY perfect place for sunset, views and party !!!! I went there on May 21, 2011. On the weekend at nite time, they have the live music. Why this is the best place for couple and bar?? Because this restaurant have the bar all the way almost into the middle of the bay. You can get all the views you want. There is no other restaurant can do that. The food and drinks are OK to me. I give 5 stars because no other restaurant in South Padre have the best view.

Fabulous blueberry pancakes & waffles!! Great bacon and coffee! Pretty slow service though. Very entertaing location to walk down the pier for the kids,

I had the Hawaian Burger and it was amazingly delicious. With its sweet and sour sauce, ham, bacon, swiss cheese and pineapple it was amazing. Best burger I have ever had in my life!! I will definitely be going back. My parents had the Fish/Shrimp basket and grilled blackened flounder which they thought was fantastic. Gorgeous view of the ocean. The inside ambiance was okay. The service was okay. It was a little pricey for such a casual restaurant (Hambureger was huge for $8.99, Fish/Shrimp basket was $12.99, which included fries or onion rings and all-you-can eat salad. Grilled flounder was $14.99, included rice and vegetable).
