Anchor Fish & Chips, Minneapolis

My wife scouted this place from a program on one of those restaurant/home improvement channels (think it was Food Network). Anyway, they simply serve the best fish & chips I’ve had to date - and I m always on the lookout for fish & chips wherever I go. The batter is unique and unlike most recipes you find at your average pub or local establishment. The tartar sauce is fresh and not just the typical fare you get from a jar. The fish is always fresh, and the staff is particularly friendly. Bottom line: if you are looking for authentic fish & chips with the ambiance of an early 1900 s pub, here s a place for you! I’ll be going back soon.

Fish was excellent chips had too much salt on them I will order no salt next time. I thought it was rather strange that if you wanted tartar sauce you had to pay 50 cents for it
