When I received my food I attempted to send back. The waitress would not even eat the vomit looking rice that was put in front of me. When I told the owner he should spend more money on making quality food than cable advertising he called the cops. Even the policeman said the food was poor quality he had eaten there on a coupon. I had better tasting salsa at Publix grocery store. The Enchiladas were swimming in grease. Eat at own risk.
We really enjoyed dinner there. The Tilapia was declicious with the corn bread and rice. The burrito was very good as well as the chimichange. However, it is not New Mexican style. No red or green chile! The $1.99 Margarita was good although there was very little taquila in it. I would give this restaurant 4 1/2 stars!
This was Dos Amigo's....which went down the tubes. Then the orginal owner took it back. Gutted the interior. And started anew. The menu is as fresh as the new look. The magrarita's are GREAT! Try the deep fried onion rings w/ Jalapeno strips really awakens your taste buds. It's a moderate priced family frendly place to go. We enjoy it on a regular basis. If you ask for a substitution there never is a problem. We're glad it's back!
