i stopped by brick oven and enjoyed every bite! i travel a lot and this was very good pizza and maria was a FANTASTIC host. in fact i live in ohio and will be jumping on motorcycle this spring and heading to luray for the sites and pizza! A+++ thanks maria see you soon.
I have ordered from here twice, the pizza was horrible and did not even seem fully cooked. Also by the time it arrived it was cold..
I find it very desperate looking that the owner or employee had to get on here and write a positive review for the place, it just sends a bigger message that the place is not a good place to eat
My husband and I just visited Luray from NJ, and we decided to give Brick Oven Pizzeria a try. We were really glad we did since we got two great, tasty meals for a very reasonable price. I got the stuffed shells, my husband the manicotti, along with 2 small salads, and the quality of the food was fresh and delicious. It was a nice touch that the entrees came with garlic bread--normally that is extra with a meal. Maria is friendly and welcoming too, and it was a really fun evening. We plan on coming again to try the pizza next. Give it a try, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
The Brick Oven Pizzaria was recommended to us during a recent vacation to the Shenandoah Valley. My wife & I were very impressed with the curtious and friendly service of the manager/owner (Maria). The pizza was good...not great. But overall, we had a very pleasant dining experience and a rather tasty pizza.-- Brian & Kathy - Cleveland, Ohio
It is called a review for a reason. Different people have different opinions about a restaurant. I have ordered from BrickOven for pizza before and I did not find it anything special. The first time we ordered for delivery, the pizza was not very good and my daughter's sub was soggy. We thought they maybe they were just having a bad day, so again my husband and I ordered out dinner for our family. Again, the pizza didn't have any real flavor (tasted like tomato paste and cheese) and was not very good. I personally do not care about how late they are open or where they deliver- that means nothing if the quality is not good. We will, also, not be ordering from BrickOven again.
We have been eating at the Brick Oven for the past 3 years, when they relocatted to Luray from Stanley we were heart broken, thinking they closed down, but when we found out in the local news papers and the radio stations of their grand opening and that they were back bigger and better we could not wait to eat there again. They have excellent choices of different and awsome tasting food, try their pizza, the dough will melt in your mouth, all home made sauses and fresh hand tossed dough, with any kind of crust. New York style. They serve you a huge portion so you get quality and quantity. I highly reccommend them if you are local or out of town they will treat you like royalty. They are the ONLY restaurant that covers and delivers to all of Page County right to your door, unlike the rest. And you get excellent service from the start till end. The Staff are very very friendly..
Let me start by saying, they by NO MEANS have the best pizza in town. My family and I recently visited their new location on Main Street, and we were shocked to say the least. All food was brought out on plastic plates, there were NO wait staff, the only person there was answering the phone. We weren't even able to be given our drinks until right when our food arrived. Now to the food... it was nothing to write home about. My salad was small and bland, and our pizza wasn't very good. The whole place is laid out strange and is very confusing to customers upon entering. Do not waste your time going here. Personally, I prefer Anthony's Pizza. We will definitely not go to Brick Oven again.
Ahhh, the sweet smell of romano, parmesan and mozzarella mingling with basil and oregano! In the mood for a romance
