Very disappointing... My husband and I just had dinner at this restaurant since a guy from his job recommended him this restaurant. We were told that even though the service was bad (apparently they are known for their attitude, which it s true) the food was good. We sat outside, the setting (tables, chairs, mats, etc) was poor. It had a dirty feel, the chairs felt very flimsy, and within minutes, flies and mosquitoes started to appear. We didn t mind since we wanted to sit outside. Our waitress was not attentive to us at all, it looked like she just wanted to get our order and get it out of the way. It took forever to get dessert and coffee after we were done with our main course. My husband ordered Cacio e Pepe $24, so far this is the worst Italian dish we ve ever had. It was really greasy and it tasted like hamburger helper. I ordered the most expensive dish: Wagyu Rib-Eye $40 thinking that the steak was going to be phenomenal but to my surprise, it was AWFUL! 3/4 of the steak was fat. I ordered medium-rare and I even had to send it back because it was pretty much raw and cold in the middle. Same thing when they brought it back. On top of that, It was pretty bland, I was looking for salt and pepper (which there was none in our table). Having a waitress who was not attentive and that barely came to ask if we needed anything, I was so disappointed that I just decided to get a to-go box and take the small piece of meat I got after taking all that fat off. As for the desserts, we ordered a cannoli and tiramisu, both were very bland as well. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to any of my friends and family. In our opinion, this restaurant is overpriced and the food and service it s just poor. We will never come back. We didn t speak with the manager about this bad experience because we had our baby with us (she was getting very fuzzy). After having such a bad dining experience and a cranky baby, we just wanted to leave.

WE HAVE BEEN THERE TWICE IN 2011 and found the food from better than good to excellent. They have excellent pastas and sauces which are all heads above the chains or the new Broughton and Bull where Chef Leochi was last. The food is a mixture of authentic and innovative. The food, staff attitude and general feel is that of a restaurant striving to make its mark in its first full year. It's always a positive sign when the chef owner comes out to speak to his customers which happened both times we ate there. I believe some of the reviews here may be sour grapes from competitors. The ambience is mroe local than downtown and the open air patio is a real plus. Heeding the rule about asking the waitstaff what they like best and why will usually get you what the chef does best.

Nice patio in the back, but that's it. Service was slow. Food was not good. Price was high. Never again.

I was disappointed. I ordered the lobster ravioli for lunch. The food arrived it consisted of 4 ravioli. 4. It was good but 4? No salad. Cold bread. The ice-tea was too strong. With the tip the meal cost $25.00. That's outrageous. The restaurant gives you the option of ordering the dinner portion. That would have cost with tip $30.00. As can be expected with these prices, nobody was there. I ate in an empty restaurant.

My family chose this restaurant to celebrate a memorable birthday. It couldn't have been a better choice. The mushroom lasagna was superb and memorable. The imported buffalo mozzarella appetizer was heavenly. Gnocchi, steak and desserts all received rave reviews. Waiter was attentive and very helpful with selections and service. Can't wait to plan another visit to Savannah and will most definitely put this on our list to return.. Delizioso!

Dinner for 2 on 3-2-11. Everything was wonderful from the beginning to the end. We were welcomed warmly and couldn't have asked for a better waiter - Todd. The food was heavenly - appetizers, wines, entrees (2 types of pasta - pork tenderloin stuffed ravoli and lobster mac and cheese), and finished off with dessert (godiva flourless torte and cheesecake). Owner/chef Roberto and his wife, Lacie made our visit memorable. We will definitely be back again and again. The bottom line is this was the best meal I have ever had (Italian or otherwise). I have already told friends and posted to facebook. Thanks - Leoci's!!

Dinner for four, Friday, Feb. 5. This was a return visit after a disappointing first visit - the pasta was poor quality the first time and we told the Chef/Owner at the time. Dinner last night was a real winner. We had three different pasta dishes and one pizza - all great, very good flavors and the quality of the pasta was excellent - we personally complimented the Chef on the turnaround. Oysters Rockefeller with Apalcachicola Oysters was very good. The place is really hoping well into the late evening hours - they desperately need good weather so they can utilize the outside rear deck for additional dining space. **** A welcome addition to Savannah dining.
