Diablo Burger, Flagstaff

Best burger in Flagstaff, great fires. But, pricey and very little seating. Great for a sunny afternoon and munching in the square.

After visiting Sunset Crater we took a little drive on Route 66 into historic Flagstaff. When we asked a local where they liked to get their hamburgers they sent us to Diablo. Good one. Creative menu. Shared a table with an archaeology grad student from Penn State who was familiar with my Yuengling (beer) hat. Said Diablo was the only place where he ate out. While they will make me a very nice and juicy medium rare, they serve it on an English-style muffin roll. Ended up finishing it with a knife and fork. But it was good enough to finish.

Small and crowded, but hamburger was decent once I explained to the guy that I was paying, so I'd have it well done, against his wishes.
