Campground - Most sites have a picnic shelter type structure for the table, electric hookup and huge firerings.
Bathroom was 2 stall unisex, only semi clean, w/garbage cans overflowing but well heated had plenty of paper and handicap access ramp. Outside bathroom light was burnt out/not working. I guess the showers are supposed to be @ the store down the road.
Sites are all grassy and flat which makes it easy to get stuck on rainy weekends.
Campground is run from down the road @ the store so there's no gate to stop outside vehicles from coming in... which they did constantly! There were Elk right in the campground (great for us) but motorists just drove through, stopped, pulled onto the grass, ran through the campsites to take photos. stood around talking at all hours etc. which I found pretty annoying. Picture a line of cars always driving down the one main road past your site.
Elk were great...prob. saw more in the campground than when we went to the viewing areas.
We wanted to get takeout, but they would not fill a takeout order. They said the restaurant was too busy. I didn't quite understand that, but they could have been a little nicer about it....The people in the store part of the restaurant are definitly not very pleasant...I just got the overall feel that the locals working there don't like the visitor's much...but we did eat there and the food was pretty good.
