Twisted Fork Restaurant, Sutter Creek

We enjoyed this restaurant very much on our visit! The food portions are very large, enough to share. The meals come with a salad that is tossed with Creamy Italian and Walnuts which could have been left out. The Minestrone soup was wonderful and also came with the meals. They served warm bread that came with a green garlicky olive oil spread. We also had Ravioli, Spagetti with Meatballs and Spicy Chicken Penne and all the meals were excellant! All the servers were friendly and prompt. We brought a bottle of wine and the corkage fee was $10. The atmosphere was pleasant and was in an old Hotel on main street. We would definately go back again!

We have dined at the Twisted Fork numerous times. The experience has always been pleasurable. The food is delectable, the wait service friendly and prompt. I believe it is most delicious food and the best value in Amador County. In fact, we are going there again tonight!

My friend took me to lunch here and it was wonderful, service was excellent, and food was awsome. This is now my favorite Restaurant. I highly recommend The Twisted Fork.

Dublin, CA 10/8/2011 A friend and I went for a day trip to attend the incredible expo held in Jackson and decided to eat at the Twisted Fork in Sutter Creek on our way home. I have never eaten there but was delighted by the delicious food. We enjoyed a crisp green salad with homemade italian dressing, tender flavorful flank steak and moist creamy mashed potatoes. The generous bread basket of warm sourdough bread was a treat and the service was attentive and pleasant. I highly recommend this restaurant. Two thumbs up.

This is an excellent Restaurant featuring homemade italian and other cuisine. They feature many good wines including local red zins that are usually only found locally.

I screwed up our reservation for four at JD's Steakhouse across the street. Since they were less than accomodating, we walked over to the Twisted Fork and had a great meal experience. Friday night at 6:30 pm. A great waitress. Drinks were generous for the price. Rack of Lamb was superb. Scampi with Linguini noodles was superb. Grilled Salmon was superb. Soup, salad, and bread with dips were an excellent touch. Try the place. You should have an excellent meal experience for the price.
