They had a great waiter. The food was good. If you go on Friday night, expect things to get a bit crazy. We were asked to move from our table about 6 times to accommodate 2 other people which supposedly had reservations at our table. Our table did not have a reserved seating card on it and we were seated there by the hostess without any notification of a reserved table. While still finishing our wine and dinner we were asked to move about 5 or 6 times because our table was reserved. Still no reservation card on table nor did we know this. I stated we would like to finish our dinner and still were harrassed to accommodate others that were not our ethnic background while still spending money and being harrassed by waitress/hostess. If I had been of other back ground I know I would not have been asked to move to another table that many times.!!! Just a note, I was asked to move several times before and I did accommodate due to the fact that I had finished my dinner and was nice enough to accommdate others. I will not EVER go back to Rain!!! I work hard and did spend money there, but will NEVER be back and will spread the word how horridble they treat working class people. Oh, the so called manager who thought I may stiff him, I did not, only because I know what is the right thing to do, you should try doing it some time.!!! Loser!!
This is by far the best food ive ever had! They have something for everyone so if you dont like sushi then dont worry... there are other great things on the menu! I had fish and my husband had steak both of which were cooked to perfection. We will be going back! The service was wonderful and so were the cocktails.
Where to start. The miso soup was thick and tasted funny. The edamame was limp cold and hardly salted. The vegetarian tofu (an agedashi tofu like dish) did not taste like food. The sause taste like some sort of astringent cleaner. The sushi rolls were very starchy and almost gooey. The service was very good, but I wish they had lost my order.
