Jack and Tony's Restaurant and Whiskey Bar
Jack and Tony's Restaurant and Whisky Bar is located in the heart of Sonoma County's Wine Country, in Santa Rosa's Historic Railroad Square. We are just 50 miles north of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge. We feature Modern American Regional cooking and an exclusive wine list focused on Sonoma County's incredible wine producers. The adjacent Whisky Bar shelves over 200 expressions of Scotch, Bourbon, Irish, American and Japanese whiskies.
We had a nice meal here. The avocado salad was very good. We had the fresh fish, sea bass, and it was nicely done. The chocolate cake dessert was a good finish. This place is not too busy and is good for a meal before a trip to the 6th street playhouse. The prices are reasonable and the food is consistently good. We go at least once a month and have yet to be disappointed.
Outstanding food in the old Hotel Oliver next to Railroad Square. Remarkable creativity in thier kitchen relates to a wonderful gastronomic event. I have recommended this establishment to 20 people and have only heard positive comments. Thier potatoe crisps remind me of Domaine Chandon in Yountville where individual thin slices are blanched in clarified butter, seasoned and finish fried similarly. Heavenly!
A good local bar with a good vibe & service. We didn't eat but did enjoy some libations. If you like whiskey, this place not only has a wide selection but if you're not too knowledgable they are more than willing to help out.
If we're ever in the area again we'll defintely make another stop.
