Went a few weeks ago on a ride, worst food i have ever had. Way over priced. burger was greasy, We went there once when it first opened foos was better.
Even though they were not that busy, food took forever, staff too busy goofin off to take care of customers. Very rude. Wont go back 12 bucks for a nasty burger to much for me....
Everytime I passed by I've wanted to stop in and see if it is really as good as the reviews. Well, it is, and then some. Great atmosphere, friendly service and the food was fantastic at very reasonable prices. I had the Rueben Sandwich which was one of the best I've ever eaten. My husband had the chicken - HUGE pieces, almost couldn't finish it. Another diner had the fish and was offered more, at no charge, even tho it was not an all-you-can-eat dinner. I would recommend this place to anyone.........and am anxious to go back and try other menu items.
You need to go here! This is a wonderful place. We were there today, and while no one was eating outside despite the nice weather, we were fine with being inside. Service was great, food wonderful and the portions are large. Reasonable prices. We recommend this restaurant. Check out their website, which lists events and menu specials. You won't be disppointed. It's worth the drive, from wherever your trip starts. Fun, fun FUN!
During our bike ride to New Diggens this past weekend our friends told us about a new bar and grill in Elizabeth, Ill. call Sharks. We stopped and were very impressed by this new establishment. The bar is really nice, plenty of room with a nice covered outside area to use during warm weather, and a very attentive staff. The Shark theme was very nicely done and should be a must stop for people when they are in the area. The only thing that I hope they change is the parking lot. It is currently gravel which can be a little unfriendly to bikers. But that is just a minor detail, we will definitely stop here again when we are in the area.
