Ethiopian with a Twist
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/25/10
This restaurant is small, but what it lacks in size is made up for in taste and service. The servers are all very friendly and it is very common for one of the owners to stop by your table to ensure that you are enjoying your meal. The food has a nice kick and tastes VERY good. On some weekends you can sample some desserts that take several days to prepare and taste sunfully good.

Although I have never been to an Ethiopian restaurant before (and have nothing to compare this to), I still rate Muzita as excellent, based on the overall experience. With reservations, my party of 4 got a table on the front deck, allowing us to enjoy the evening and do some fun Park Blvd people watching. With no experience eating Ethiopian food, my party needed a little guidance through the menu and we were given a lot of help from our waitress. She was very pleasant and very helpful, right down to explaining the differences between the African beers. We started with the mussels appetizer (yummy) and had several dishes served family style on one plate - trying a little of everything. We were not disappointed. We finished with a chocolate cake, which apparently takes three days to make so it is only served on the weekend. It was VERY GOOD. Both the manager and the owner stopped by our table to make sure we had enjoyed our meal and they were willing to answer questions about the food. I will definitely go back to Muzita.
