I recently visited this place, and wasn't impressed. The food was good, however the restaurant lacks the fine dining experience. I ordered the New York Strip with the smoked gouda corn grits. They were both lovely, but I would opt for Ruth Chris in the future. Our waiter was also a bit slow to bring the drinks and steak sauce, and completely forgot my sidedish until I reminded him...(sigh)should have went to Louisiana Lagniappe as planned. Did I mention, the restaurant was almost empty? Kudos to new restaurants in Baton Rouge, however nothing tops the originals (Ruth Chris, Lagniappe, Ruffinos, etc).
