I have been to India Oven many many times as I live just around the corner, the food is delicious; I have absolutely no complaints. The service is good too - their employees are very polite. I have a lot of experience with Indian cuisine in the greater Sacramento area. One place I would NOT recommend is Bombay Bistro - their pakoras are always tough as leather - with an over microwaved texture. The all male staff at the establishment I have found to be rude, gruff and curt with their customers.

This restaurant serves bland and greasy Indian food! If you are looking for spice and flavor go elsewhere. I had the lunch buffet.The chicken vindaloo, tandoori, pakoras were all so mild they had little to no flavor. I asked the waiter about the bland food.He said Americans like it this way. What a waste of money.The Buffet is $9.00. Try Bombay Bistro it is better than this!!!
