Been coming here since I was a kid. They definitley remodeled the place. It is still one of the better places to eat in town. The service was good but parking is terrible, but it is downtown and parking is terrible anywhere you go there. It was ten times better than the grumpy gringo at least.
We have been dinning at Ed's for 10 years. It's the best food in town. The breakfast burrito is to die for. My daughters and I go there nearly every weekend. This is a family friendly and the locals and visitors place to eat in town.
My husband and I go there on friday nights and have a Cantini. This drink is as delicious as it sounds. Shauna invented the new Avacado Marg. I was suspicious at first, but now I am a big fan. I worked in Boulder of many years and had ate at many restaurants. Ed's can stand with the best of them. The food is well prepared and staff is friendly and inviting. If you don't like to chat and laugh a lot then don't ask for Amy as your waitress. Bronson will make sure you receive good service. or else.
I have to move to California for a employment. Carla - Elli, Rae and I already miss the breakfast burrito and large chocolate milk already. Yum. The BEST is town.

We had one of our worst food experience at this place.
Food came almost instantly and was quite obvious that canned beans and other canned stuff was mixed up and heated and served on a large plate for 14 bucks per entree.
Problem is, food situation in Estes Park is tough. There are a lot of food joints but you'd be better off getting a frozen dinner from the Safeway and heating it up in your motel microwave than going to most of these places. Top it off with the fact that 95% of Estes Park closes at 8 pm. That leaves you at the mercy of canned food serving experts like Ed's Cantina.
At least you won't feel cheated of your hard earned money.
This review is for folks who know what good food is. If you're not one of those, you'll do fine here....
