Just visited the new location after many years at the old location. I have to say what a huge dissapointment! My party of three walked in stood near front counter waiting to be acknowledged, however, the manager and waitstaff had more important things to do like count $$ before saying anything to us. I work in customer service this behavior is unacceptable.
I want to tell all out there Do Not Ever order the vegetarian Calzone! Their idea of a Veggie Calzone are raw unsteamed veggies such as canned mushrooms, a few olives, no cheese inside, and lots mostly raw white onion. My son is diabetic he ordered breast of chicken and side of broccoli. Breast was super small and understeamed broccoli Cost $11.00. What a disservice. This place used to be charming, relatively good and priced well. Very dissapointing definitely last visit.
We just got back from a family meal at Amicis. I must say that this was one of the worst dining experiences we have ever had.
My chicken was as over cooked as possible, and was dry and tasteless. The noodles were over cooked and chewy. My son had the super calzone and his was the opposite. The dough was under cooked. Absolutely the worst italian I have had. Your neigborhood italian eatery is a better bet.
In all fairness, the wait staff was very friendly, and they did comp the chicken breast. Another diner loved their pizza.
Eat there at your own risk.
