too bad so many negative nellies, hubby & i were very surprised at the quality and portions while eating here in gainesville, fla. i had enormous salad and hubby had wonderful sandwich everything fresh and the pizza arriving looked very tempting...the fish on my salad was outstanding!!1 don t listen to the negative nellies!!!

I am writing this after eating at BJ's multiple times. This is not an enjoyable place to eat, but it is a decent place to drink, food is lousy(except pizza), drinks are fair. Overall it is over priced for the quality of food and service you receive. I like how Brent compared it to chili's, pretty accurate just a bit more pricey.

It's a good place. It's along the line of an Outback, Ale House, Texas Roadhouse, etc. Good beer brewed onsite. Know what you're getting here. Good food (not eclectic quality), good service (these are not 20-year career waiters with years of professional training), and a good experience. You get what you pay for. You'll definitely get your dollar's worth here. But you can't pay for Days Inn and expect the Four Seasons.

This was the 1st time I went to BJ's.. We had reservations and were seated 45 minutes late with a party of 18 waiting. Then one side of the table got there food 15 minutes before the other side. A few people had problems with there dish. The burger I ordered seriously tasted the same as a Mcdonalds cheeseburger, I could of saved 10 dollars by just going there... There are to many great restaurants in Gainesville to waste your time and money at this place... Oh and the drinks were way over priced.
