The pizza here is of good quality but still not as good as Mulberry's(Beverly Hills) or D'Amore's (various locations in L.A.) which are the only true east coast pizzeria's here in SoCal, and believe me I know what I'm talking about. I've been to Brandy's out in Naples, Italy which has been around for over 300 years and where pizza margerita was invented and I've have been to NY and Boston where the pizza is by far the best in the world in my opinion.
Tuesday is a bargain night...you get two for one at Z Pizzeria.
As far as customer service is concern most of the people that work there are friendly but they tend to be really young and immature. Example: last Tuesday I was there and the girl who took my order made a mistake, she made me the pear pizza but I wanted the chicken curry one. The blonde haired kid who worked there didn't even have the class and decency to make me another pizza and instead told me that the receipt says pear pizza. But what pissed me even more was that he made me feel like I was trying to scam the place or something. So in the end I didn't want to make a big deal out of it because it's just a pizza and because I didn't want to make big scene out of it. So I just said whatever and took that pizza home. What I should have done was order another pizza and then throw the one that they mistakenly made for me in the garbage and made sure that kid saw it. Well, moral of the story is if you are gonna buy something from them make sure you ask them to repeat your order and make sure you check your receipt because they got little kids not mature adults running the show. And be careful with that blond-haired kid. I don't know his name but he looks like Eric Hutchinson.
