I recently relocated to Casa Grande and wanted to experience great Mexican Food. I read the last review on yahoo about dinning at Eva’s Fine Mexican Food. So I decided to do my own review of the most favorite Mexican food spots in Casa Grande. My first stop on Florence Blvd. was Macayo s and as I suspected poor food that is prepared in Phoenix chain, chain, chain. As I continued on my quest for great Mexican food I would ask others there favorite spots for Mexican Food, everyone would recommend various locations. Next on my list to dine at was Mi Amigos Ricardo’s. I will tell you, I was so disappointed with the quality of the food I could not even eat it. Menu selections were very basic and the atmosphere poor, stressful and you smell of Mexican food after you leave. Next stop was Manuel’s on Pinal food ok portions small atmosphere uneventful. So I saved Eva s Fine Mexican Food for the last to review. I have always admired the Architecture and thought what a gift to Casa Grande. I have travel the world and the Architecture rivals some of the most interesting spots I have visited. So here is my review. I entered the courtyard to encounter a large celebration going on in the ballroom; wow did not even know they had a ballroom. As I made my way to the front door I was greeted by a lady making fresh flour tortillas that I could sample now I was impressed. I was welcomed with a smile from the hostess ask me if I wanted to dine in the restaurant or cantina. Since the last review was in the cantina I wanted to experience the atmosphere in the cantina. I was seated promptly on a Friday evening. The restaurant was very busy lots of large groups. Kenny my server was prompt to greet me and offer a mind blowing selection of Margaritas and Craft Beers I think 18 on tap. As I looked over the menu if became clear that Eva s stands apart from all the other locations I visited. The menu were unique and many options to choose from. I was offered warm chips, salsa and bean dip not typical of the other locations in town especially not bean dip. I ordered the Salmon Tacos with black beans and a large Margarita. As I began to look around the cantina I was amazed at the bar with hundreds of endless bottle of tequila. The bar had lots of TV s to watch as I waited for my food. 20 min. into my dinning experience my food arrives at my table. The presentation was amazing the Salmon was grilled just right topped with mango salsa and jack cheese. I took my first bite and I will tell you I fell in love with Eva s. I give Eva’s a+, for food, atmosphere and service. I am proud to recommend Eva s as the place for Mexican Food not sure what the last review was about I had a very positive experience
