We have segwayed in other cities and put this as a must-do for our trip to San Francisco. We were not disappointed! The advanced trip was great fun. One thing to know - there are two Segway companies in San Francisco, within blocks of each other. While I can't say anything bad about the other, this company rocked! I suggest you make sure you're at the right place - we registered for this company, then almost showed up at the other company's location.

We had to juggle our schedule due to a June rainstorm in San Francisco. The customer service staff went out of their way to get us on a Segway tour that worked with our busy schedule. We had a blast with Chelsea as our tour guide. we trained with 2 groups at one time. the groups we split into smaller groups of 7 each for the tour. Chelsea did a great job of keeping our group entertained. They use radios with an earbud to keep the narration going the whole time. Our 2 teens said this was the most fun of all the activities we planned. the truing before the tour was just as fun as the tour. If we come back we are doing their Golden Gate ark segway tour. Thanks to the staff for getting us on when the rain was not helping!

This is one of the best tours I have ever joined! The best part of it is, not only is it a tour, you also get to play with this 'toy' while you are touring! Now, how fun is that? For 2 1/2 hours, it's worth every dollar spent.

We took an "Advanced" tour which meant we were experienced riders. We were able to see much more of the city than we could have on any other kind of tour! Highly recommended

This a great way to see the much traveled tourist spots of San Francisco. We silently scooted along much of Fisherman's Wharf -- and even North Beach! If this is your first time on the Segway, as it was for me, the guides give excellent training to get you familiar and confident on the ride. We had a couple with us from Israel who were on opposite ends of the spectrum on confidence on the Segway. Not meaning to further stereotype but the husband was itching to speed around with the machine, while his wife was very tentative. Looked like both ended up with great smiles and a good time after the tour :) I'm sure I did. After you're comfortable enough with the ride, the guides do give you enough room to play around with the Segway - within bounds of safety of course -- and with the backdrop of beautiful San Francisco, this is a sure way to have a great time.

I liked everything about the tour..staff are wonderful and entertaining. I would highly recommend the tour for anyone who is in reasonable shape. December was a great month..not as crowded as in the summer months..especially during the week days. I believe that most anyone who can climb stairs easily will enjoy this trip of the city..you will get to see some areas that you may not explore on your own..plus you get the narrative from a great tour guide.

There was nothing we didn't like. So much fun! Have already recommended to many others. The Segways are very easy to manuver. A good thing to do the first day to get a tour and lots of ideas to do the other days from the guide.

What a terrific experience my son and I had doing the San Francisco segway tour. If you look at the hours and price it's a bargin. He and I will remember how we spent his 15th birthday forever. I'm very uncoordinated and felt certain I would wipe out. I did not and even wished for it to go faster.

Great way to tour with your teens. They get to learn history and have fun at the same time. We took a 12, 14 and 18 year old and they all had a great time and liked the history they learned about San Francisco. The only thing that would probably make people hesitant about this tour is the price. Even though $70 is a lot of money, as parents, we thought it was well worth the time and money. The staff are great at getting you comfortable as quickly as possible so that you can enjoy the tour. We choose this group because they were one of the few that allowed 12 year olds (as long as they were 100lbs) to participate and we felt our 12 year old was ready and he had a great time. We look forward to trying them again in Sausalito!
