St-Denis Theater was built in 1915 and was inaugurated on March 4, 1916. This theater presented classic performers such as the tenor Hipolito Lazaro and the violinist Jascha Heifetz. Besides, celebrities such as Emma Calve, Alfred Cortot, Mischa Elman, Tita Ruffo, Jacques Thibaud and Theodore Botrel, it also hosted Maurice Ravel in 1928. The St-Denis was equipped with a brand new sound and lighting system in 1991, and has 2343 seats. St-Denis 2, with the added balcony has a seating capacity of 980.
