Scotty's Bar and Grill

I was on vacation from PA to visit my boyfriend in Santa Maria, CA. We were looking for a place to watch both of our teams for college football and just tried to find any bar locally. We found Scotty's and gave them a call to see what it was like. When I asked if they had the games on I was told there were 4 tvs and it's first come first serve, however it's not that busy for college football Saturdays. We decided to give it a shot. When we got to Pismo Beach there was front row parking, fantastic! We went in, and I asked in my ND jersey, what tv the game was on. The girl that greeted us asked if I called earlier, I said I did, she smiled and said, I put the games on these two tvs for you when you called. It was delightful to have someone not even know if we were coming in already turn on those channels. I wasn't sure what tap beer I wanted to drink since nothing I saw was similar to what is on the east coast, they let me sample each beer until I had found something I liked. The food was great! The service was spectacular! The restaurant was clean! There was a gentleman there, I'm assuming it was the owner, that when he saw I was so intently watching the game, went over and turned up the tv. I felt like a princess! I have never had such wonderful attentiveness from any restaurant/bar in CA before. When I come back to CA we will definitely return to Scotty's Bar and Grill. I can't say anything bad about this place.

Stopped in Scotty's on a Saturday afternoon. The service was excellent and so were the steaks. But the lobster tasted like sweaty underarms. Potato appetizers were great and looked like home made. Our only disappointment was the lobster and it was the worst we've ever had.

Scotty's is such a great place! Good food, good drinks, with a friendly atmosphere. The service is excellent and if you happen to go on a Friday night you can always expect a warm greeting from Scotty himself. It's the Cheers of Pismo Beach and one of my favorite places to go for dinner or just a drink.
