PLEASANTLY SURPRISED!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/23/11
Arriving at this lovely old home, we had no idea what to expect. We came early as our host couple had been there before and wanted us to enjoy a drink on the porch - a plan the rain altered. This, however, resulted in our enjoying an hour with a VERY gracious bar tended. Thrilled to have Red Butler as our waiter, we were impressed with both the food and the service. Yes - there IS a long wait from sitting down, to the start of the show - but how else could the hard working crew/kitchen serve so many people so well. Just be sure to come with someone you enjoy - and enjoy eachother! The show was amazing! All I know was "it was local talent." The "local talent" were very professional - and talented. What voices! What humor! What a memorable evening!

dont go!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/17/11
If you are looking for a scary show, don't go! This was more like a corny comedy show. It was also very expensive - $25 per child for chicken fingers, popcorn shrimp, or spagetti and meatballs..the service was also very slow...don't waste your money like I did!!

Absolutly Amazing Family Night Out!
By Demi, 8/7/11
I love the overall look of the place. The second you pull up, you see the beautiful building and the well groomed gardens of flowers. You walk in and they remember you from the 3 times before that you had visited and they even remember your name. The food is great from the cream of aspargus soup to the creme brulee (which i cant find a better tasting dessert). The show is wonderful. I had went twice last year two nights in a row so that i saw the last night of one show and the opening of the new show. The actors love their jobs and they enjoy enteracting with the audience. I brought my boyfriend recently and he at first was skeptical of how amazing it is but afterwards he said it so worth it. Its a great rainy day activity and if youre a human being, you wont stop smiling throughout your visit. Im going again next week! :) Hope this helps someone :)

A lot of fun!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/16/11
We went there with a party of 6 for an anniversary celebration. We had never been there before and didn't really know what to expect, but it was fun. The food was delicious - we had steak, salmon, chicken parm and shrimp w/ pasta. The service was good - the chicken parm was cold, but they quickly took care of it. We ordered a pitcher of soda, which was flat, but again, they quickly took care of it. All of the employees were friendly and helpful, and they were busy. The show was very cute and goofy and made you laugh. I would recommend it as a fun night out.

A FUN & ENTERTAINING NIGHT OUT
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/27/11
This was not our first time visiting Elaine's Dinner Theater and once again we were not disappointed. The Scrooge show was lively, funny & festive. The actors do a wonderful job and keep the audience laughing the entire time. We are always amazed with the vast menu selection and how delicious the food is. The wait staff is always friendly and attentive. No other dinner theaters can compare!!! I'm already looking forward to our next visit.

What a disappointment!
By Dee, 9/22/10
I've been to Elaine's before, for a Scrooge Christmas play. Went looking forward to the same entertainment and food. What a disappointment!! The Zombie Beach Party was silly and boring, I couldn't wait for it to end. The actors did a good job with what they had which wasn't much. The best was the old '60s songs they interspersed throughout the show. My meal was just okay, the salad was blah, they didn't have frozen drinks so I asked for a soda, I paid $2.75 for a soda with NO refill! You would have expected a soft drink or iced tea with your meal, but no, just water was part of our meal plan. On this evening, there were three bus loads and we were packed in there like sardines, I kept thinking what would happen if there was a fire. Sorry I have nothing positive to say about this experience.

Elaine's Dinner Theater - An Unbeatable Night Out!
By Jay, 9/14/10
Elaine's offers such a unique night for those who appreciate superb food and live entertainment. The entertainment isn't a burlesque show or a male revue either, but it does offer lots of laughs and a taste of the macabre. I was in luck because the show I witnessed had zombies, surfing, and even some magic mushrooms. The Zombie Beach Party was a fun throwback to the '60s beach movies starring Frankie and Annette, only with a horror comedy twist. Think of it as Off Broadway...160 miles off Broadway. A couple of the actors played multiple roles, but that's one of the most entertaining aspects of the production. The cast clearly loves to perform since they were having a blast up on stage. After inhaling an unbelievable meal and kicking back and laughing at the great stage show, I couldn't believe what a great time I was having. The entire cast was extremely talented and had excellent comedic timing. The main character, Jeanette (pictured surfing above), not only made me laugh the entire time, but she also created such authentic mannerisms. It was as if Judy Garland killed some brain cells and started hanging out with the girls from the movie Clueless. Her singing voice was so precise during her performance of "Be My Baby" she sounded exactly like Ronnie Spector.Included with your reservation is a full course dinner and then when you are nice and full, the show begins. To start off, I had Cream of Broccoli soup and then the amazing Eggplant Roulade for my main entree. For the price, Elaine's Dinner Theater is an unbeatable night out.

Great Way To Celebrate a Birthday!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/14/10
10 Family members and I celebrated my grandfather's 60 birthday. Not only was the food good for the price, but they even took care of the Birthday Cake! I had Adults and Children 10, 11, and 12 and everyone enjoyed the Circus Themed Show. Make Sure to get there early, our family sat on their porch and caught their friday happy hour great margaritas and sangria.
