Loews Theatre, Cherry Hill

This theater feels new, looks new, very clean, courteous staff, high tech screens and sound.... but lets face it, all that is useless when the people 3 seats down are chatting away, just like the people 1 row in front of you and the group of 6 kids in the back... This isn't just a one time thing, this is NORMAL at this theater, people just .... talk... and never shut up. I've seen about 10 movies here and its always the same thing... there is always at least 2 people talking someplace near the good seats. I'm not talking about people whisper to each other.... its full out 80% of normal inside voice volume talking most of the time, Enough of a mumble to ruin any but the loudest and most action packed of movies. (and then they up the volume of their voices accordingly :( ) If you like talking about a movie during it, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO, its rare that anyone makes a big deal about people talking and if they do you can move just a little down next to another group of talkers and be left alone. For those of you who want QUIET when watching the silver screen: If you don't mind leaving your seat to get the talkers in trouble, and get everyone to shut thier mouths and obey the "Silence is Golden" (Please don't spoil the movie by adding your own soundtrack) policy... then its a great place to see a movie, even the basic screens are pretty big and the sound systems are top notch... but unless the theater is nearly empty, expect to be in hearing distance of someone else's conversation. tickets are 10.50 for basic tickets, imax and 3d add more, I think imax is 14.50 as of jan 2010
