Scenic Helicopter Tours
Enjoy the experience of a lifetime when you take a scenic tour of the Smokies with this company that operates two helicopters, one which seats three passengers and one that seats four. Flight choices range from three to forty minutes and all pilots and aircraft are FFA certified. They also offer aerial weddings and honeymoon tours.
Loved all the staff @ Scenic Helicopter Tours they were all Top notch. The pilot was from the area and told us a lot about the National Park which was VERY INTERESTING. The mountains were beautiful and I have a fear of heights but not once did it bother me. I was very comfortable, and felt like this was an experience not many people get to do. We did their Gatlinburg Tour. Worth every penny!
I said i would never fly,but i did last september. After our very first trip last year,my fiance' and I vowed to make gatlinburg our yearly vacation.I'm reserving our cabin for september again tonight and the Scenic Helicopter Tours will be number one on our to-do list.I only flew for 5 min the first time, but i'm goin for 30 this time! It's a breath taking experience and no amount of money is more valuable than everlasting memories!!
My son and I have taken several rides, from the shorter, to the 30-40 minutes tours. Each one has been wonderful, the views are really neat, the heli's are a great way to see the area, and super fun too! The price is high, but two weeks later you have to admit to yourselve that you would have rather done the ride and have the memories for life, than have just blown it later that day shopping for junk you end up tossing in the trash anyway! The pilots each time were friendly, professional, and very easy to talk too! My son LOVES it! I think I love it even more, and the memories for the both of us are priceless! Do it, you will not be sorry!
Would absolutely come back next time we're in the neighbourhood! My 8-year old boy loved it & got a front seat. They were very courteous & professional. Definitely made our visit to the smokies memorable & we can now say "I flew over the Smokies" like their tag-line! I know its a tad pricey, but its an awesome experience! Would recommend it.
I thought Smokey Mountain Helicopters were very professional. The ride wasn't long, but the experience was well worth it. I'm taking my teens up with me this year in the end of June. If you visit the Smokies this is a must. Steve
Love these rides will plan to do it again.... It is well worth the money.. Kids love these rides too. My son did....Best time to visit would be fall to catch all of the colors the season would have to offer...the overall experience was just an awesome feeling. Gives you a since of being able to fly....
The ride was very memorable. Great way to see the whole area, including some of the mountains. But, thank goodness we took a video of the ride because it was 72.00 dollars for an 18 minute ride. Probably worth it though. It's a lot of fun, but get ready to reach deep into those pockets for this one.
All of the employees were very friendly and my boyfriend and I thought it was a great value for the low price; for 4 minutes we paid $30/$15 apiece. If you want the experience of being in a helicopter then this is a great place to go.
