They have given up
By ,
This place has really gotten bad. I used to play there all the time and it was always in decent shape, but never great. Now, it is awful. Everything on the course is grown up, the bermuda greens they rave about are terrible and the fairways are in bad shape also. We were forced to hit tee shots over weeds so high we could not see the fairways. I'm not sure what management has been doing the last few years, but you can tell they are not putting a priority on the golf course or any maintenance. Even the driving range is like hitting from rough. I can see this being a good place for a beginning golfer, but if you play and want an enjoyable round, go some place else.

North Nashville is controlled this heavy.
By ,
The whole back nine we were approached by rangers telling us to hurry. If we were lagging behind, I would understand. But.....there wasn't a person waiting or even on the previous hole. I will say the ranger was nice, but give me a break....I came to play golf, not see how fast I could get done. I don't care what their target time of play is...our company could have found a good place to enjoy outtings, but not at Forrest Crossing.

New management, same problems....
By ,
Can't stand this place. The course itself is just OK, but being one of the only public courses right there in Franklin, they jack the rates way up to the point where it isn't worth it. That isn't even my biggest problem with them...they're such jerks! I had heard things got better with new management, yet every time I deal with those guys (which isn't going to happen again) they're rude, and short, and act like they're doing me a favor. Last time I called for a tee time, the guy on the phone was rude right off the bat, then put me on hold for 10 minutes, by which point I hung up. Just not worth it, go somewhere else!

Save your time and money!
By ,
I live in the neighborhood and don't even play this course but once per year. Every time I waste hours and too much $$ to hit and wait on this ragged, junky course with poor staff, it reminds me to not go back for another year. I have lived here for 20 years; this course has gone downhill for the last 10 years and is not worth $20 per 18 holes. Similar to a cow pasture, but more crowded. Try Spencer Creek in Frankllin for a $ bargain. Never go here!

Avoid this course!!!
By ,
This golf course is horrible. The fees are way out of line in relation to courses within a 30 minute drive of Franklin. This used to be one of AGC's most profitable courses yet they pour very little money back into the course. They tell us they are trying to improve play by moving tee times from 6 minute intervals to 8 minute intervals. This is very little help given the overall course condition is pathetic. I have lived in Franklin for 8 years and the attitude of this course is "we are you only option so pay up!" Don't think so.... Henry Horton, Champions Runs, and Kings Creek are much better courses and costs less as well.

Good Course - Reasonable $$$$
By ,
Given the extreme temps that TN has the course is very well maintained. The design of the course is good for all skill levels, offering several water holes over the 18. I would have to say that the 9th and 18th holes are their signature. This course is one of the best in the Nashville Area.

Needs better customer service
By ,
The course has a good layout and generally is in good shape. My two complaints are the cost (the fees seem excessive for what you get compared to other area courses) and the customer service. It sometimes seems like you are bothering the gentleman in the golf shop when you want to play. There have been times I left because of the attitude. This is the closest course to my home, but I now only play there when I don't have time to drive elsewhere.
