Tivon Salon and Spa

Tivon is amazing & all the workers are amazing. They are all talented & very friendly. When I go to Tivon I always get more then expected. If you dont go there your missing out. I would reccoment it to everyone. It is well worth the few extra dollars.

i am the mother of two and do not get to have a "spa day" very often. I recently came with a gift card from christmas and recieved a massage by Joy, and manicure and pedicure with Jenna. Let me start out by saying joy gave me the best massage i have ever had. Jenna made my nails look great and i had a blast sharing stories with her. I would definitely recommend this spa to anyone, and i will return next time i get a chance.

I hesitated after reading a few not-so-good reviews. but then decided to let myself be the judge! The desk people were pleasant enough (you often get what you dish out) and the facility was nice. My new hairdresser, Amy, was great! She took lots of time with me and understood just what I wanted!!! I was thrilled with the treatment and loved my new haircut. My next appointment is already scheduled. She did make it clear to me that she is not always on time so I will make sure I am not in a hurry and bring a book. It was worth it!

I came to this salon to receive a special haircut. This salon is the only one for miles that does this cut for curly hair. My hair looks amazing and the salon itself is beautiful. I was lost trying to find Tivon, and the lady at the front desk was very sweet and helpful with me finding it. Definitely recommend this salon to anyone.

Those who answer the phone are the most rudest females I have ever met. They are not helpful and and they seem to disregard people's inquiries etc and even when you meet them in person they are no different. An acquaintance of mine experienced the same. Amy is one of the nicest stylist working there and if it wasn't for her nice character I would have rated this place as awful. These women at the reception need custom service educational workshops.

I am a new client at Tivon and loved my experiance so much i wanted to share. I have never had a better manicure and hair cute in my entire life. The back "spa" room is AMAZING and a great place to relax. and as for all of you with the negative reviews, maybe if you showed up on time they would not have "rushed" you'r hair cut. NEVER HAD BETTER WORK DONE, THEN AT TIVON also the prices are very great for the amazing work theses cosmotoligists do

Marsha does wonderful highlights for great SW virginia prices - have had wonderful outcomes everytime, and people in northern virginia stop and ask where I have my hair done all the time. I somehow find a way to make it back down there in time for my next highlight because she is just that great!

This place has very poor customer service. I found people at the reception very rude and disrespectful. I waited for an hour (!) for my appointment in a busy parlor, without being greeted or provided any explanation for a delay; I even started wandering if I came at the wrong time or to a wrong place, since nobody paid any attention to me. The girl at the reception simply ignored me when I approached her desk to ask how much longer I should wait. Nobody in that place ever apologized to me, said “hello”, “good buy”, or thanked me in general fashion for leaving $100 for services. I have an impression that you can be treated better at any McDonalds in the Blacksburg's neighborhood than at Tivon. Never go there again.

VERY disappointed in Tivon Salon and Spa. Today my daughter went in for a hair cut, style, shape, etc. She was rushed in and rushed out; her hair was barely blown dry (still wet in the back and on the ends); the receptionist apparently didn't allow enough time between appointments. Very disappointed in that the cost was $32 + tip... she definitely did not get a $32 haircut! ... Definitely will NOT go back.

I got a baby sitter for the kids, took off work and planned a nice spa trip for my wife. Paid up front made the appointment, etc.. She shows up and is not on the schedule. Whole day shot. I went in to talk to them, and the girl behind the counter wasn't helpful at all and sort of stuck up. Manager was not available and never called me back. Terrible business.
