BLONDELL, the masseuse, should be let go.
Disappointment is all I was left with. BLONDELL, the masseuse, should be let go. She ruined my Christmas present to my boyfriend. As a surprise, I organized a massage for my boyfriend. When I dropped him off, I said "I'll park the car and see you in five." I arrived at the front desk and asked if he made it in alright. The receptionist told me he was late and so his massage would be cut short 10min. After pulling out my iPhone (thank god for technology) and verifying he was in fact ON TIME, the receptionist said she would run back and let the masseuse know the mistake. The receptionist came back from letting the masseuse know her mistake and to my surprise the masseuse (Blondell) said he was still late. It was awkward. We all stood there starring at each other. Disappointment passed through my body. Case in point: He was getting a 50min massage with an appointment from 6:15pm 7:15 leaving 10min to change for a 50min massage – HE WAS ON TIME. Blondell had informed him that he was late, and it being a surprise, he was unaware of the details, and so when she dictated his new apt length he had no room to disagree. The red door receptionist and the computer ALL agreed that he was ON TIME, but BLONDELL did not agree. Apparently, the receptionists have no authority over the masseuse, even if they are wrong. I was so disappointed that I will never, ever go to this spa again. We are in a recession and $140.00 for a 50min massage is a treat. She should be fired!!!! Fired! The Red Door Salon is better than staff comprised of people like BLONDELL. Unfortunately, a large majority of my friends and family go to this particular location… NOT ANYMORE.
