Description

This restaurant is located on the Indian shores surrounded by huge boulders of salt rocks. It offers a great view of the Gulf of Mexico on one side and the intercoastal waterway on the other. The Chef serves mostly seafood and grilled delicacies, and the house specials are the Jumbo Coconut Shrimp, Alaskan King Crab Legs, Pan Seared Tuna, and Fire-grilled Porterhouse Steak. Reservations are highly recommended on weekends.

This is the second time I made a reservation only to have to wait to be seated an hour afterward. I complained both times, and no one seemed to care. The place isn't that great to wait around that long. I mean, why even make a reservation....

Not for Everyone

Good food, not four-star. If you can get pst the front door without a tie, good luck. Great service, atmosphere OK. It's a restaurant with an attitude that should not have "Grill" in it's name. 'Nuff said.

We won't go back.

While the atmosphere was very nice, the food was not exceptional like all of the hype we heard. The service was excellent, as the server was very attentive and paid great attention to even the small details. It was nice, but we probably would not return.

My wife and I made this (on a friend's recommendation) our first Tampa night out. What a night! Maybe the best steak I've ever had, excellent service, beautiful surroundings. It's a drive from South Tampa - almost an hour on late Friday afternoons, but I/we've been there three times now, and had perfect meals every time. Great combinations of "big red meat" with sauces and accents of fresh seafood. Can't recommend it highly enough
