St. John's Presbyterian Church, Berkeley

We were married at St. John's in June 2004 and had our reception on the Patio. Inside the Sanctuary, the pews are comfortable, there are two beautiful stained glass windows, wood-panelled walls, a phenomenal organ, and a center aisle (!). Our friend was the sound guy who handled the taped music and adjusted the mics for our soloist and musicians. We decorated the patio but not the pews. The weather was perfect for the patio reception. Our sound guy friend was the dj and we had great dancing. My wedding party helpers loved the BIG kitchen (Their kitchen can also accommodate outside caterers). And . . . free parking. The folks there at St. John's were friendly and easy to work with.
