There is no better way to end the day than sitting on the Cobalt deck and watching the sunset while enjoying some shrimp. Fantastic evening. Thanks again. Good food and friends.

The place was nice, well over priced, but nice!! I had the grass fed buffalo and let me tell ya, the next morning I was in a bind! It wasnt the cowboys that killed off the indians, it was the buffalo! I thought I'd never get out of the bathroom!! But other than that, if I felt like an expensive night out this is the place! Tons of cougars running around!

We recently ate at Cobalt's Sunday brunch. I can honestly say it was the best brunch I have eaten in the area. Every dish on the buffet was fresh and well made from the roast beef and freshly made omelets to the fruit salad. My husband thought the shrimp and grits were wonderful. And we ended with creme brulee and bread pudding muffins! Well worth the $$.

We arrived at 6:00 PM with a party of 17. We had tried to get reservations and were told that they didn't take reservations. When we arrived we were told that they could seat us outside in 30 minutes. One hour later they took us out side and gave us 2 separate tables to accommodate our party. We asked if there was a table so that we could sit together and we were told that there would be one in the next 15 minutes. So with that information we decided to wait another 15 minutes. 2 hours later we were still not seated. After talking to the manager, Lisa, we were told that we should have taken the tables that we were offered earlier.... DUH! We would have if we had not been assured that it would only be 15 minutes until we could be seated together! Lisa's attitude and that of everyone else that we talked to in Cobalts was not customer friendly. Who knows about the food....we couldn't get past the management or the servers!!! We left and went to Steamers and had a wonderful meal and fellowship and were treated like you should be!!

We came here for the Seafood Paella. Granted, it was the day after Thanksgiving when we dined here, but I was expecting a better experience. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't something that would entice me back, either. The basic Paella was very good, but the seafood was very sparse and over-cooked. Instead of cooking the dish traditionally, it tasted (and looked) as if it had been prepared in a pot and finished in the oven. There was no seafood actually under the surface of the rice. The shrimp was overcooked (but still edible). The mussels were so overcooked they had all but shriveled up and disappeared. The calamari was like eating scorched rubber bands it was so overcooked. I think I would have been happier with the dish if it had not come with seafood, and that is just sad considering the wonderful view of the sea mere feet from our table. It seemed as though everyone there was more concerned with the Alabama-Auburn game than food - staff and customers alike. Nice location and atmosphere. Too bad the food missed the mark.

Is Cobalt's chef from bland America? West Indies salad, no punch. Blackened Redfish. Maybe salt and pepper but then the chef washed those spices off. There is absolutely no flavor to this resturant. We can not forget Cobalt's pretend David Cosby walking around during our meal. Very disappointing. Will not go back or even think of telling anyone about this dud.

Went with family and sat outside....so beautiful. We had a great waiter and the appetizers were great (we had 8 in our party), we especially loved the oysters. My steak (asked for med. rare) came med-well. I asked the waiter who agreed it was done wrong, to bring me one cooked to my liking. Five minutes later the manager came out with my old steak and told me it was the lighting outside that made it look lovercooked. There was no juice on the plate from this dry steak. He asked if I wanted to have it microwaved because it was probably cold by now!! (REALLY wanted to overcook it some more), My 83 year old mother in law who is a world traveller was marvelling that she had never seen anything like this manager who would argue with a table of 8 guests eating 3 courses and drinking wine! Very bad for business and speaks poorly of his managerial skills. This would have been a wonderful experience overall, but was downgraded ot average.

The first couple of times we ate there the food, waitstaff and ambiance were delightful. The last time we were there had the worst waiter ever. Took forever just to take our drink order; we ordered appetizers and he only brought 2; there were 4 of us and they never got their appetizers. When we finally got the main course (he only brought 2 of them) it had been over an hour. We complained to the hostess. She apologized and got someone to try and help him but it didn't get any better. We left when he brought the two main courses.
