I went to Mousse Cafe 2 wks ago for first time even tho I've been here since last May. I went there around 10:30 a.m. & obviously had missed the breakfast crowd. The bakery counter was pretty empty but I did buy 2 of the biggest peanut butter bars I've ever seen for the great price of $2.50 each. They were well worth it & I've been back for more. I do plan to try to get there earlier for some more of the goodies & will try lunch one day. Highly recommend it.
I just recently discovered this little gem!! I don't even know where to start - you could eat each and every meal here and be dizzingly happy! Just this morning, I had my first orange cranberry scone. I usually always get the raspberry honey, but decided to break out - it was amazing! just sweet enough with great fresh flavor! Some of my personal favorites are: white corn salad, pulled pork sandwich, turkey meatloaf, and the tomato bisque soup. I could go on and on....I love the fact that it is locally owned by a couple who makes everything on the menu - it is always fresh.
And I have to share one last comment - it is the best fresh iced tea I have every had. I don't know what it is or why some places can mess up something that should be so easy to make - but theirs....can't be matched!! It is a daily treat of mine!
Enjoy!! I know I always do when I stop in!
