I only became an avid sushi enthusiast a couple of years ago, and have been addicted to it since. I have eaten at multiple sushi places from restaurants in the Caribbean islands, all of Florida, and places up north in the New England area. I used to exclusively think the Japanese resturant in Epcot at Disney was the best...but that was until I came to Thai Hana.
First lets start with the atmosphere and location. It is located right outside The Avenue shopping plaza, a very high quality looking shopping area that is very lovely. It is in the plaza with Sports Authorty and Kohls. When you enter the place, it has a very sleek, contemporary, Asian feel to it. Every time I return from patrol (I'm in the USCG), they have added something new to the place to only improve it.
The food itself is amazing. They have a great selection of sushi and other Asian style foods. I have only tried their appetizers and sushi. One thing that sets them apart from other sushi places I have visited is how they treat their food serving as an art form. They don't just serve the sushi on a plate...they serve it in specific designs with garnish all over the plate. It looks like a master piece every time I eat it. The sushi also tastes amazing and has the looks of very high quality ingredients.
Overall this is a great place to have sushi, and one of my most favorite places to frequent for it. It is definitely the best in the area, as I have eaten at Thai Thai in Cocoa...and found it to be boring and bland tasting.
I would also recommend going next door for Frozen Yogurt for desert once you have enjoyed the sushi here.
