One of the best restaurants in town, it serves up creative dishes made from fresh ingredients in an atmosphere redolent of the 14th and 15th centuries when the building was completed. Owner Adolfo Muñoz is world-famous for his game dishes and he's keen to promote the regional produce. Try the charcoal grilled squab with chicken breast and carmelized mandarine slices or fillets of lamb in a sauce of raisins and plums. The restaurant has four dining rooms and boasts one of the best wine cellars in Spain. You'll find it in the old Jewish Quarter close to the cathedral.
We have just returned from Toledo, & can't recommend this place too highly. Javier & Joel treated us royally, & in fact we loved the restaurant so much we booked one unplanned extra night in Toledo , & stayed at their Apart hotel( lovely breakfast on the roof terrace). We shall certainly return.
What a great Sunday we had in Toledo and what a great food experience at Adolfo's.
Chef Adolfo, his son Javier, the Maître d'hôtel Joël and all the team have been so professional and friendly to make our lunch exceptional. They serve very creative and delicious meals - using genuine and excellent local products - accompanied by top Spanish wines. A place we recommend with no hesitation! Thank you very much Spanish gentlemen, we will be back. Jean-Milou and friends, Geneva/Switzerland.
