Based around a working harbour, it's a place that people either love or hate. Certainly, while some extol the many tones and colours of Aberdeen's granite buildings, others see only uniform grey and find the city grim and cold. The weather doesn't help: Aberdeen lies on a latitude north of Moscow and the cutting wind and driving rain (even if it does transform the buildings into sparkling silver) can be tiresome.

Dubai is indeed a 'Do and Buy' place to be with large shopping malls that you can really shop till you drop. However, I must say that getting around in Dubai is difficult without cabs which can cost a lot if you are on a budget trip. Luckily for me, my hotel is just a few minutes walk to a large shopping mall and I spent my time there before my tour excursion. The sundune dinner I went to was really marvellous. Packing and Boston Logan Airport Today is the day my mom and I are leaving for Scotland for a nineteen day vacation! I took today off of work and I spent it running around like mad! I dislocated my elbow on August 1st in an ATV accident so this will be an interesting trip. I am just out of the Bledsoe brace that I had to wear 24/7 and now my arm is weak and sore and I have to be careful not to lift anything heavy.
