If you're looking for ambience, Frangipani is the height of sophistication. With a skylight above the poolside tables, this is the place to see and to be seen. Try their house specialties, tea-smoked salmon and home-made ice cream. After dinner, head upstairs to the bar, but sip your cocktail slowly, the elegance of Frangipani does not come cheap.

Went to this restaurant in Nov 2008. Quite simply food is overrated, over priced and the chef is pompous. We even found a hair in our food, the chef claimed it was from a pastry brush ! - the hair was black. This was our most expensive meal and the worst of the entire holiday - would recommend walking 5 mins further up the road to Bijan or Nerovivo.

Incredible.

Frangipani is possibly one of the best restaurants in KL. The food is good, ambiance fantastic and people gorgeous. The bar upstairs is chic and sophisticated and the cocktails are to die for.

Limit good Quality Menu/empty

This was the final night of the holiday and a special birthday meal. In comparison to European French food not as expected, disappointed as the atmosphere was flat and the dark/balck water feature in the centre gave a damp feel. We felt this was more for business clients than a romantic meal.The food was well prepared and steak excellent, the rest of the experience was average.
