I've been here a few times, and enjoy the view and the food, but always check your bill, as they added in 8 euros for something we didn't order.I was with my elderly parents, and hope they weren't taking advantage of my situation. Local businessmen eat there at lunch. You can see the dome of St. Peters, and it is just a short walk from the top of the Spanish Steps.
This was the most wonderful restaurant we visited in all of Rome! My family and I just spent a week in Rome - and went here for drinks appetizers one afternoon. We loved it so much that we went back for dinner a few nights later. I highly reccomend doing dinner here. The food was unbelievably good - and such a great value! Staff was fabulous. The wine was wonderful also. And to top it all off was the atmosphere - with one of the most beautiful settings,as well as an impeccable view of Rome. The turtle pond was such an unexpected but great addition to the setting - so much so that my family named this the "Turtle Cafe". We have such fond memories of this cafe - and will definitely return when we visit again.
