I just cant get over the fact that someone always wants to cry and moan about smoking on a wide open area on the beach!! I am not a smoker but it blows my mind that someone wants to act like someone smoking is a reason to write a bad review on a beach. Quit whining n sit away from the smoke or find a smoke free place!!!!!

it was reasently renovated, the rooms are great, the location is perfect, the vew is fantastic, and the rates are reasonable. I loved it and will be back

There was an ice cream store that my boyfriend and I enjoyed going to and reasonably priced. The boardwalk is lovely and a pleasant place to sit, eat and enjoy the oceanview. Loved Hollywood Beach Theatre Bandshell at night where they have different bands playing and benches to sit. Problem is, there are no designated smoking areas. Smokers ruin the enjoyment of listening to the band. Even if you try to move,there is smoke everywhere! During the day, there are smoke butts all over the beach. The beach is mostly occupied by French Canadians from Quebec and was a nice atmosphere. They just need to do something about the smokers...they are disgusting!

My wife and I and another couple had dinner there tonight. To call it "bad" would be a compliment. Our Greek salads were small, pathetically prepared with some sad-looking pieces of iceberg lettuce and at $9.95, a total ripoff. My wife ordered a side of french fries, which were soaked in grease. The oil just dripped off their limp, stale bodies. Disgusting. As far as myy order of blackened mahi is concerned, the best you could say is that it wasn't inedible, but it was clearly prepared by someone who has absolutely no knowledge of how to prepare and cook fish. We returned home hungry and upset at having spent $40 for garbage. Hollywood Beach's restaurants are known for the quality of their offering, but La Brochetterie lowers the bar to new depths.

I love Hollywood Beach. I'm a traveling professional and I've been almost everywhere in the US. Hollywood Boardwalk is by far a great experience for singles and famlies! I travel by myself often so I was able to go through a traveling professionals dating firm. The company is called luv in the city. One of their locations is in Hollywood, FL. My date and I truly enjoyed the scenery of the boardwalk! Yes, I would definetly go back!

My wife and I (Oklahomans) have stayed on the Boardwalk in the same place (Tide Vacation Apartments) for ten years. The first two to three weeks of June every year will find us there. The restaurants are within walking distance. The variety of cuisines is superb, and the prices are very reasonable. The Boardwalk is our little slice of heaven on earth. Whether it's relaxing on the beach, just steps from our door, or walking the Boardwalk to take in the sites and find a good bite to eat, the stay is always our highlight. All of South Florida is within reach from the Hollywood Boardwalk. We've toured the Everglades, taken a day to venture to Key West to enjoy the sunset at Mallory Square, and gone snorkeling at John Pennecamp National Park. One of our favorite things to do is stop at Mile Marker 77.5 to feed the Tarpon at Robbies Marina. Most of all, we clear our schedule, kick back on the Boardwalk, and soak in the rays, sometimes by the pool right on the Boardwalk, but most of the time on the clean soft sand that kisses the edge of the Boardwalk. There is no better place on earth for us!

Last year we stood in the Miami area. We went to Hollywood beach for one day. Well this year we are staying at Hollywood Beach. Its a place i wood like to stay. Without a Doubt

It is one of the best beaches I've been to. And let me tell you I've been to quite a bit (including Daytona). Very Clean beach, many places to rent skates and bikes and minature bikes. Water very clear. It was just an awesome beach. I have to say I absolutely loved it. We stayed with my family's friend's house that is right in fron of the boardwalk and it was just refreshing. Thumbs up!

The boardwalk offers something for everyone from lifeguarded beaches to bike paths and safe shopping walking areas. A variety of restraunts from the fancy italian to the casual pizza on the beach. Come and see this great clean wonderful area!
