Kotobuki
Description
Kotobuki, which means long life in Japanese, is a successful chain of restaurants that started as a small Asian food market. You can eat all the traditional Japanese dishes like sushi, sashimi and tempuras, all at reasonable prices. There are discounts during some periods in the day, like the executive lunch, served from 2p to 6p, with a starter, a main dish, a dessert and a drink. This branch, though simple and unadorned, has a nice view of the Guanabara Bay. They also sell VCR tapes and offer courses in Japanese cooking. Valet parking is provided in the evening.
