Walking to Ambleside from the Lake Windemere ferry piers at Waterhead takes fifteen minutes, while all buses stop on Kelsick Road, opposite the library.
Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel itself was also lovely, our room was a little small but nicely furnished and clean. I would definitely stay here again. More
