The food was mediorce. Had the ribs, baked potato and coleslaw. Ribs were so-so. The coleslaw was tasteless and the potatoe was lukewarm and looked as though it was heated all afternoon. The service was slow. The prices are high. Just a step above cafeteria food. Avoid this place.
I called ahead and informed them of our plans to be there as A group of ten. When I got there everyone was seated. We all enjoyed our meals and the service was superb. Thanks Lil Cooperstown For making our friends 60th birthday special.
We've always loved the food and service at this restaurant, but it seems the last several months, the quality has changed, specifically with the Black and Blue Steak Salad. (The Nacho Salad isn't much better.) Either raise the price and serve edible food or take if off the menu. I would much rather pay a few dollars more for something good, than have to leave it on my plate. We've talked to the servers about this and they said the owner is aware of it after several complaints and plans to change it back to a better quality steak. When? We asked our server when we were there two days ago and it still has not been changed. We've stopped recommending this restaurant.
I used to love this place but they started to change the staff a little and the last time we went my Wife ordered a burger well done, when she got it it had uncooked meat in the middle and our waitress said well im sure its cooked all the way through. I said no... there is red meat not pink or light brown this is not cooked, she in turn just walked away. we payed and left immediately.
Just in Time! OC has now a variety of good places with good eats! Lil Cooperstown is a SPORTS BAR for people who like to EAT. The Menu satifies even the most picky from a simple Cheeseburger to a Complex Buffalo NY Burger or how about the signature sandwich's like the Tax Man or the 3D Rueben not to mention the Asian Salad and for the younger crowd, Yes Kids are Welcome!! They have a great kids menu. The people that work at Lil Coops are Great & Friendly. If you are just looking for a place to relax have a Beer and a Burger with Friends, Family or Even Business I would say Goto to Coops!!!! ENJOY!!!!!
Only been to this place twice, but it will be the last time! The service was bad, the place was so cold we had to wear coats the whole time and the food was just OK. We sat at a table near the waiting area and as people came in they stood right next to our table. It was not because the place was full, it was because the couldn't get their act togeather to seat these people.
Really enjoy this place during Football season. Good selection of beers. And excellent food so far. Have eatin here at least 8 times and have yet to be disappointed. They always go out of there way to seat you by a big screen that has your team playing or will change the channel if possible.
My only suggestion is to ditch the 80's music. It's simply not needed in my opinion. But it's a minor suggestion, or maybe turn the volume down a bit.
Highly recommend, one of the better chains in the OC. Glad to have it here and local.
