Radovljica boasts a beautiful square stuffed with some superb Gothic and Renaissance architecture, and one of Slovenia's most surprisingly engaging museums.Everything of interest in town is centred on quiet Linhartov trg (Linhart Square), the old medieval core, framed by a raft of fine Gothic and Renaissance buildings. The square was named in honour of the Slovene dramatist-historian Anton Tomaš Linhart (1756–1795), whose birthplace at no. 7 bears a commemorative plaque and bas-relief of people at work and play.
