We went there on a Sunday evening not really knowing what to expect. The online menu looked appetizing as well as very reasonably priced. The lot and restaurant may look deceiving as it could use some updating and sprucing up, but then again the average price of entrees is about $12. Dont get me wrong it is clean just a little dated. The menu offers quite a bit of Greek food items but also will find traditional American fare as well. We had the potatoe skins for appetizer, the pasticio ( can be described as a Greek lasagna) , the spanakopitia which was amazing. So light flaky and cheesy and just yummy. Both entrees came with soup or salad and rolls. We also had 4 single liquor cocktails And shared a dessert of rice pudding whiich was pretty close To what my Mom makes whiich means almost licking the bowl clean. The server was attentive and we overall had a great evening. Our total for food and drinks was $42 where in town can you get great food like this for that? We will def be back. Thanks lakeview for a great evening.
Went tonight with friends and had a marvellous supper of surf and turf with complimentary salad and rolls. Everything was excellent - I have been there before to eat Greek - The Spanikopita and the Pastitsio were both excellent. I always try to remember to buy some Baklava to take home... I'm always too full to eat it after dinner. This place is terrific - I like to stop in on my way back from the beach - and have a wonderful Margarita. Tonight I saw someone enjoying a square of cheese flamed with brandy... must try it next time!
Again we ate at the Lake view. Went for the all you can eat fish. I hate to say this but the food has really gone down hill. The first order of fish was dry and did not seem to be freshly fried. My Husband tried another order and this was better.
The service is slow.People at the Bar were loud and argueing. I decided to get a piece of, what usually is, fantastic Bakalava. It was so hard I could not cut it with a knife. But, wwe thought it was frozen. I took it home to eat later. Well, later did not help. It was NOT frozen, it was old and hard. I think they need to go back to the original Chef's.
