Pismo's Coastal Grill, Fresno

This use to be one of my best places to go have lunch or dinner, but went there the other day and the place has went down hill fast. I was wanting Fish and Chips for a change, should not have done that. It was god awful, the only thing good was the fries, the fish I could not eat had a bad smell and stail, the cold slaw was from some where in some other world. And I got to tell you no one cares down there any more. They better weak up, because they are not as busy as they use to be. Not sure if I will go back again.

I went there with my wife, sister and brother-in-law. My brother-in-law and I ordered clam chowder. At least that was what was on the menu. My brother-in-law and I said at about the same time that it wasn't clam chowder, but some kind of fish chowder. It wasn't very good. I informed the waiter and told him that it didn't have any clams in the clam chowder, but just a little fish, and all he said was that they put fish in it. We ordered cod and chips and the cod was over cooked and dry. The chips were okay. We ordered a side loaf of bread and the waiter only brought out one little serving of butter with it. We had to ask for more butter a couple of times. Everyone at the table said that the food was not very good and that they wouldn't be back again.

We love Pismo's! The food is consistently delicious, innovative and creative. The service is excellent. Friendly and attentive. It's better than being in Pismo!

I love this restaurant!!!! I have been there at least ten times and I have taken large groups of people from out of town. They have never let me down. They have great sea food, (of course) and fabulous steaks as well. Deserts are also a hit too. I love this restaurant!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't get sick but thought the food, all of it!, was very oily. Steamed vegs were slathered with oil, even the rice was oily.

I became quite ill with intestional symptoms within two hours after eating the linguini with clams. The service was very slow. The menu was pricey and had little appeal to my teenagers. No chance that we will return to this establishment.

I have eaten there twice and both times were exceptional. The sturgeon and grilled artichokes were to die for as was the sourdough round. Our waiter was attentive and helpful - even tracking us down as we left our to go box. The ambiance is casual and upbeat. I have eaten in upscale restaurants up and down California, and this place rivals any of them! I highly recommend it.

At first I was afraid I would not find something I could it allergies to seafood,but I had the roasted chicken. We will go back and the waitress was sooo nice we felt spoiled.

i love sea food i travel around the world and when i seen pismos i was extied because i live in fresno and wow sea food more like S**T Food DONTTTTT GOOO THER WASTE OF MONEY I SPENDT OVER A 150.00 THER PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND THIS FACILITY GOD BLESS
