Our arrival into Milan and painful ride to Verona We arrived at Milano Malpensa airport at around 8 a.m. on Friday, September 28th after a pretty bumpy ride across the pond. We were seated in the very last row of the plane and of course there was that requisite screaming toddler just a few rows away. After going through Italy’s non-existent customs area, we hopped on a 45-minute pullman (coach bus) ride to Milano Centrale train station. Getting to Verona from the states is never a direct affair. As such if you are trying to reach Verona directly be sure that whichever airline you are using checks your luggage all the way through. We saw many instances along the way of folks that were forced to reclaim and then recheck their luggage at each stop. Air travel now days is stressful enough, don't make it anymore stressful then needed by having to monkey with that scenario.
