The town of BANYUWANGI has excellent transport links and is 8km south of Ketapang , from where ferries run to Gilimanuk in Bali (every 30min, 24hr a day; Rp1000, bicycles Rp1700, motorcycles Rp2700, cars Rp12,500 including driver) A helpful East Java tourist office (daily 8am–7pm) is located inside the terminal building. You'll find a convenient Pelni agent on the main road opposite the Ketapang ferry terminal: Hariyono NPPS, Jl Gatot Suproto 165 (tel 0333/422523).
