Now known as Trident Pizza. That's not all that changed either. The pizza is much better, now baked in a shallow pan with homemade sauce and the very freshest of ingredients. But where the Trident truly excels is in the calzones they produce. My favorite it their mushroom cheese steak calzone, but they are all delicious and made with homemade doe. Not sure about how you will like them, I suggest you go and order a small calzone and once you have eaten it, then decide. The place is clean, and the owner and workers are always friendly. Look for their soups and chowders to start appearing once the snow starts to fly, but as since I have yet to try them I will reserve judgement. Located right on Gloucester harbor near where the Annisquam River ebbs and flows.
