I departed from PDX at 7:30am. I flew on Delta Airlines for $916 dollars round trip. I arrived in Paris at 8:40am the next day. Thessaloniki! Ah, the birthplace of Alexander the Great! This is the favorite stop on my trip because of my great interest and respect for Alexander. After all, who doesnt love a man who can bring peace to the middle east? Waterloo was nothing out of the ordinary for me. Seeing the site of Napoleon's final defeat was interesting but not enough to make me want to come here again. Tonight I will fly over to Ajaccio, on the island of Corsica, Napoleon's birthplace.
