Mi Peru South American Grill, Henderson

My husband and I appreciate the effort of some new restaurants bringing authenticity to Las Vegas. We were pleasantly surprise last week with our visit to Mi Peru in Henderson. This place is nicely decorated. I started w/ a glass of good Peruvian wine while my husband tried a Peruvian beer Cusquena. Our server guided us throughout the whole menu and I can speak for my husband that we found our two new favorite dishes. He ate Pescado a lo macho ( tasty fish fillet topped w/ mix seafoods w/ very unique flavor ) and I enjoyed Tallarines Verdes ( spaghetti w/ basil-spinach sauce w/ a generous breaded tender steak...yum...yum) I can honestly say that my husband and I found our new favorite restaurant and can't wait to go back w/ our friends to try out the dishes.

Even though I'm a little new to new ethnic foods, my friend and I wanted to try something different and Mi Peru is definitely a place with unique dishes. I absolutely love the Lomo Saltado, and my friend had the Tallarines Verdes, which was also very tasty. Since the portions are big, we were able to share our meals and take some home with us. I will have to come back with more people to try out the rest of their dishes.

Worst service we've ever had at a restaurant. No one came to greet us or take our order, so we had to ask to be served after 20 min of waiting. The food took more than 50 min to bring out after we finally did get a server. Horrible, horrible experience. And I was so looking forward to good Peruvian food that I love. The food was not that tasty.

Terrible. We waited over an hour before anyone would take our order, in a restaurant that was not that full. The "house specialty" chicken was not available on a Friday night. We also asked for water, which we did not get until we asked at least three more times. The food was not that good, the service was terrible. We will never return.

I have never had such fresh and delicious food. The spices and flavors are extraordinary. Service was excellent and personal. I am from out of town but will be back.

I couldn't disagree anymore with the previous 2 reviews. My girlfriend and I try different cuisines very regularly and I've had good peruvian food from Sushi Samba. 1. The place is decorated poorly, cluttered in spots, and unfinished in parts. 2. The food was not very good and the portions were very small for the price. 3. The manager, a guy named Raymi, came to our table during the dinner and probably spoke about "blah blah blah" for a good 10 minutes right during the middle of our dinner. The guy is crazy and he has this really weird twitch. It completely freaked my g/f out. If you want great Peruvian food for near the same price, just go to Sushi Sambi. Mi Peru is all the way in Henderson in this little shopping plaza and it's not very good.

My family and I have enjoyed many great meals at Mi Peru. The food is always fresh and delicious. Great for lunch or dinner. All of the dishes we have had have been wonderful but their chicken soup maybe the best I have ever had.

Great food and wine. Perfect date spot if your looking for somthing different. The WOW factor.

i've been to different peruvian restaurant in different places from different states, and i found this new place in town in henderson. there's nothing better than this place esp. the wine from peru, the food is excellent and the service is as good as the wine. if you get to eat here, you have to try their wine esp. the desert wine. my family was happy and surely be back for more to try all the dishes they have in the menu. its a doublle thumbs-up !!!!!
