North of Seal Rocks, a bridge connects the twin holiday towns of FORSTER– TUNCURRY, the former set on the strip of land separating Wallis Lake from the ocean. The lake is very pretty, but Forster itself decidedly isn't, being somewhat blighted by high-rise development. It's a good base for all manner of cruises and watersports though, and famous for its oysters and playful resident dolphins.
Greyhound and Premier Motor Service buses both serve Forster.
